"2 Degrees Of Disobedience" is 1 grouping of 4 panels. It is not parallel with the straight lines of the architecture by 2 degrees.
There are 2 different designs that are used to make groupings of paintings. One design has 49x49 white squares painted on a black painted panel. The other has somewhat fewer white rectangles painted on a black painted panel. These rectangles represent squares that are placed in a point perspective with the vanishing point in the centre.
The placement of these panels was based on the thought that they behave like fixtures in a building. They find their place in answer to the architecture of the building.
These works were part of the exhibition "Game of Life" in Kristiansand Kunsthall, curated by Jan Freuchen.
